Education: Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), Basic cardiac life support (BCLS), CPR certification


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Area of Specialization: General duty, Cardiology, Medical unit, Palliative care


Specific Skills: Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Provide nursing care


Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory


Other Information:Non-emergency transfer company requires nurse for patient monitoring during transfers or appointment at Ontario area hospitals. Must be certified in Province of Ontario. Experience mandatory.
