Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): St. John's Ambulance First-Aid Certificate, Canadian Red Cross First-Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Emergency First Response Course, Driver's licence


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Driver's Record: Driver's abstract


Work Setting: Private ambulance company


Specific Skills: Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care, Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies


Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Immunization records, Driver's validity licence check


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Manual dexterity


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence


Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Continuous learning
