Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Area of Specialization: Public and community health


Specific Skills: Supervise registered nurses, nursing assistants and other nursing personnel, Co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services, Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed


Additional Skills - 2: Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel


Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence


Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
