Title: The Well Adjusted Chiropractic Centre Chiropractic assistant  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $12.00 to $16.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Toronto Centre, Ontario (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable


Experience: Will train


Languages: Speak English


Work Setting: Office of health care professional, Community health clinic or centre


Chiropractic Office Assistant Specific Skills: Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine, Assist chiropractor with patient health education, Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, Assist chiropractor with physical examinations, Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments


Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventories of supplies, Clean and maintain equipment, Schedule appointments, Collect statistics, Perform general clerical duties


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking


Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation
